SUSP Representation and the American Psychiatric Association (APA)


The interface of the SUSP District Branch and the American Psychiatric Association fall upon our voted APA Assembly Representatives. They represent and serve the needs of our district branch and recommend actions to the Board of Trustees. To ensure a wide range of voices and ideas, representatives of the Assembly are selected regionally and by special groups determined by the district branch. These representatives may include resident-fellows, early-career psychiatrists, minority and underrepresented (M/UR) psychiatrists, and representatives from allied organizations approved by the district branch. Our most recent recommended actions presented to the Board of Trustees can be found below.
